45th Annual NATS Artist Award
assisting singers who are prepared to launch a professional career
The biennial NATS Artist Award (NATSAA) competition is designed to assist classical singers prepared to launch a professional career and, to that end, substantial monetary and performance prizes are offered. The competition takes place every other year. It will be held in conjunction with our NW Regional Conference, being held a short distance away in downtown Portland.
Application deadline: September 5, 2017
NW Regional Auditions: First round, the evening of October 27th, 2017
Final round, the evening of October 28th, 2017
Portland State University, Portland, OR
National Semifinals and Finals: January 5-7, 2018 at the 2018 NATS Winter Workshop in New York City

Our 2016 NW NATSAA Winner is Rebecca Sacks
Rebecca's teacher is Ruth Dobson
We are thrilled to announce that Rebecca took 5th place in the national NATSAA finals. She recieved substantial monetary prizes at the event. Rebecca also entered the National Student Auditions and placed 2nd in her category, receiving an additional monetary prize.
