NW Conference 2025 for Students of NATS!
Yes, students of NATS and community singers can also participate in some conference sessions, as Singers and/or Observers.
Masterclass #1
The Singer-Actor; Intention & Expression
Classical & Musical Theatre Performance Masterclass
Saturday 2-3pm
As the title says, this masterclass with clinician Debra Wiley-Hart will focus on the lyrics, acting and interpretation of the material presented.
All are invited as Observers and students of NATS members are invited to submit as Singers.
We are looking for 3 Singers for this masterclass who will each get 15 minutes to work on 1 song of their choice.
Repertoire should be Classical (Opera, Operetta) or standard Musical Theatre repertoire.

Mic'd Up Ready; a Mic Technique Short
Sunday 11:15-11:45am
Singing with a mic scares you a bit? This short session with clinician Kim Greenwood will offer a quick overview of the types of mics available to CCM singers, how to hold and handle them, and how they can help in sound production appropriate to your style of singing.
Observers only. No Singers required for this session.

Pop & Rock Your Style!
Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) Performance Masterclass
Sunday 11:45am-12:45pm
This masterclass with clinician Billy Gollner will focus on individual expression appropriate to contemporary music styles, with vocal and performance tips for the CCM singer.
All are invited as Observers and students of NATS members are invited to submit as Singers.
We are looking for 3 Singers for this masterclass who will each get 15 minutes to work on 1 song of their choice.
Repertoire could be anything from pop, rock, jazz, soul, R&B, indy, folk. You name it, show us your style!

You can attend as Observer for all sessions or submit to sing in one of the masterclasses.
All will need to register for the "CL/MT & CCM Masterclasses" at a cost of $60.
Registration includes access to both masterclasses on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, and the mic technique session on Sunday morning.
Registration for Observers ongoing.
Submissions deadline for Masterclasses Singers: October 22; Singers selected will be contacted in the following days and will be required to register before the conference.
